How To Delete Multiple Pages At Once On Kami

There is no way to delete multiple pages at once on Kami. You must select one page after the other and delete it by tapping the delete button next to them.

Kami does not offer any feature that allows users to mass delete pages on the platform. This feature has not been introduced because it could result in data loss, especially if a user mistakenly deletes many pages.

Can I Recover Deleted Pages on Kami?

Unfortunately, you can not recover any page you delete on Kami. Before you delete a page, check and confirm that you will not need the page later. Once you are sure about this, you can proceed.

If there was a Trash folder on Kami where deleted pages could be stored, restoring them when needed would be easier. However, there is no option to recover them on the Kami app.

How Does The Split and Merge Tool Work?

You might have heard about the Split and Merge tool on Kami somewhere and wish to know what it is and how it works. Well, the Split and Merge Tool is an add-on tool that can be added to your Kami account. However, free accounts can’t access this feature.

The Split and Merge Tool does not come with Kami accounts but can be installed on paid subscriptions. If you have subscribed to a premium service, you will find the option to add the Split and Merge Tool to your Kami account.

Also, you can access this tool if you are running a trial subscription. Usually, I will advise that you test out the Split and Merge Tool and any other tool you wish on Kami via a trial subscription before you purchase a paid plan.

Basically, the Split and Merge Tool has two different modes. The modes are “Split” and “Merge,” just as its name implies. That is, you can use the tool to either separate or combine files. Once again, you won’t find this on a free plan.

It might interest you to know some of the features of the Split and Merge Tool on Kami. The tool allows you to delete pages, rotate individual pages, split documents into multiple separate files or merge files, and rearrange pages to customer order.

Most of the features provided on the Split and Merge Tool are not available on the free plan; therefore, you will not be able to use them without having a paid subscription. Once you subscribe, you will access all of these.

The Split and Merge Tool is compatible with several file types, including PDFs, and Google File formats like Docs, Slides, etc. It is compatible with almost all of these file types. However, these file types will be converted into PDFs before loading them into the Split and Merge Tool.

How To Delete Pages On Kami With The Split and Merge Tool?

As I mentioned earlier, you can delete pages on Kami using the Split and Merge Tool. Remember that you cannot use this feature if you have not purchased a paid plan on Kami.

If you are on a free or basic plan, you can delete pages using the procedure I explained earlier in this article. However, if you are having difficulty doing so, you can use the Split and Merge Tool to delete pages on Kami.

Asides from deleting, you can also rotate these pages and place them exactly how you want them. To rotate or delete a Split and Merge Tool page, you should refer to the Toolbar attached under each document page.

That is, you have to navigate to the document where you wish to delete a page, select the page you want to delete, and use the required button to get rid of that page. To delete, you have to tap the trash can on the page.

If you wish to rotate a page on Kami, tap the circular arrows you find on the page. You can rotate it in whatever direction you want. The same button will do the job if you wish to return it to its original position.

Another thing you can do here is zoom in on a page. To zoom in on a page, you must select the page first and click the expand arrows on the toolbar. There are different tools to either zoom in or zoom out on pages.

 Conclusion

The Split and Merge Tool is one of the best tools introduced on Kami. It gives a whole new level to working on the platform. Aside from deletion, the tool allows users to rotate pages as they wish.

Usually, no feature on Kami allows you to rotate or turn pages in any direction you wish. However people were able to do this using joysticks, but it was still difficult. The introduction of the Split and Merge Tool gave new meaning.

Also, the tool makes it easy to delete pages you no longer need. Deleting pages on Kami can be frustrating and tiring, especially if it’s your first time. With the tool, you can do it quickly, just like a Pro!
